This is the new adidas home kit star players Ronaldinho, Kaka and Paolo Maldini will be wearing for AC Milan during the 2008/09 Serie A season.

After a disappointing season for AC Milan last season, only finishing 5th in Serie A, and missing out on a Champions League place Milan have strengthened their squad for 2008/09. This has seen the arrival of players Gianluca Zambrotta, Mathieu Flamini and their biggest signing Ronaldinho. The Brazilian superstar will join fellow compatriots Kaka and the up-and-coming Alexandre Pato in the Rossoneri shirt.

The Rossoneri literally translates as 'red' and 'black' shirt, colours AC Milan have worn throughout their history. The colours were chosen to represent the players' fiery passion and eagerness (red), and the oppositions fear to challenge the team (black).

The new adidas kit includes the 'ClimaCool' fabric technology. This channels heat and sweat away from the body through a combination of ventilation channels, heat and moisture-dissipating materials and three-dimensional fabrics that allow air to circulate close to the skin.
