The new Liverpool FC away kit has been unveiled by adidas for the 2008/09 Premier League season. Liverpool fans will see modern day idols Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Fernando Torres wearing a retro-style football shirt previously worn by the likes of Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish, John Barnes and Peter Beardsley.
An all grey football kit will be worn throughout the 2008/09 Premier League season, 20 years after wearing the grey adidas kit of the 1988/89 season. During the 88/89 season Liverpool won the league title and with new signing Robbie Keane they will be hoping for a repeat after waiting 18 years since their last league title.
